Fliss Bridgewater has 20 years experience in management, organisation and team development, gained across a number of sectors, both as a senior manager and as a consultant. She has an informal, welcoming style, and has developed a reputation for combining strategic thinking with business pragmatism.

Fliss has held leadership development, training and recruitment positions within media, consultancy, and manufacturing, and has carried out consultancy assignments in a variety of other sectors including retail, hospitality, financial services, professional services, education, police, advertising, social housing, central government and public health.

After managing graduate recruitment and other HR roles in Pilkington, she joined Lakeside Training and Development where she successfully launched and managed a commercial consultancy arm that specialised in assessment, development centres, psychometric testing and competencies. Her most recent position before returning to consultancy 7 years ago was as Head of Learning and Development for ITV plc, reporting to the Group HR Director.

She is a psychology graduate and is accredited to use a range of psychometric and other diagnostic tools, including OPQ, 16PF, MBTI and SDI.

• Design and 3 year rollout of leadership development programmes to over 300 managers at senior, middle and junior management levels of FTSE 100 media company.
• Consultancy advice on the establishment of several Information and Consultation Forums including training of elective representatives
• Facilitated Awayday activities with a range of management teams including Executive team of a Primary Care Trust, the 35 employees of a newly merged media development agency and all 100 members of a Philharmonic Orchestra
• Design and delivery of 360 degree feedback services, including for entire executive team of advertising agency
• Career management advice and support to individuals and groups, to support those affected by redundancy programmes but also as part of talent management initiatives for high potential staff
• Numerous 1-1 coaching assignments, including Director of Public Health, HR Director, Managing Directors of SMEs, MBA Programme Director and managers in a range of creative, technical and general roles.
• Designed, delivered and trained assessment and development centres, including training of in-house assessors, in a range of sectors including police, retail, manufacturing, airport management and media. .
